Tentative Entry for Knit the Classics: Blind Assassin

materials: crochet hook size G, 20 gauge copper wire. sugar and creme 100% cotton thread in ecru. one yard satin ribbon in ecru, less than one yard of cream tulle, two fake pheasant feathers. one genuine antique brooch. pattern from this month's Knit Scene.

notes: this hat was made for Blind Assassin, a complex, twisting novel that takes place in the mid 1940s. since it is Knit the Classics (not crochet the classics), I might have to redo the hat.
