finished object: headhuggers from SNBN

materials: cotton berocco worsted weight yarn in violet (?), bulky weight yarn in cotton, also in violet, left over from previous projects. knit in size 8 DPNs (the only one I had on hand). green cascade 220 wool leftover from a sweater project.
pattern used: modelled after the SNSN Headhuggers, but was ad libbed through as I could not figure out their pattern. body done in stockinette, edged in single crochet using bulky cotton. i-cord was omitted as i couldn't figure it out, swapped for a single crochet chain. the flower was crochet, and the leaves were embroidered.
time elapsed: under four hours, from start to finish
notes: this project came out better than i thought. although it's supposed to be a headwarmer (?) for the winter, this is not San Francisco and i don't think i can get away with wearing knit flowers in my hair. it makes for a nice, comfortable and warm small scarf though, or a makeshift corsage. i will definitely make this again! the best thing about this project is that it uses up leftover yarn. definitely in the wool for the summer, and in a variety of colours!
