Pattern: Puff-Sleeved Cardigan from Fitted Knits
Materials: Cotton Fleece wool/cotton blend in grey, Cascade 220 wool in grey that does not match, for button bands, seamed using embroidery thread in grey
Notes: Knit in size 6 bamboo circulars, used 3 skeins of Cotton Fleece (and promptly ran out!). Then had to use Cascade 220 in a similar looking grey for the button bands. The button bands were stiffer than the rest of the yarn (which drapes well), and were knit at a smaller gauge, so the button bands did not need reinforcement. Could not decipher the bottom part (lace in the pattern), so I swapped it out for
King Charles' Brocade pattern.
This is my first buttonband (not crocheted on), and wasn't a bad experience. The buttons are plastic but are an iridescent plastic (seen in the second photo), which gives the sweater a more modern look.
I would knit this again, but this time two inches smaller than my measurements and in a stiffer drape (wool only?)
