One Week, One Pattern: Day 1

Day 1: Jersey top, Burda 8155 skirt in plum suiting.

Tilly is having a One Week, One Pattern challenge and I definitely am participating.

The pattern I’ve made most often is Burda 8155. The pattern is very simple to make and very versatile. It was also one of the first projects I’ve made that fits me properly and I still make skirts from this pattern.

Burda 8155.

I’ve made this from plum suiting, floral Hawaiian fabric, polka-dot cotton sateen, faux leather, and black cotton sateen. Each version looks different and hopefully I have enough for the whole week.

  1. I was just searching for this info for some time. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your website. I wonder what is the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this kind of informative websites in top of the list. Normally the top web sites are full of garbage.

  2. No way this wasn’t a fantastic show. Pat O’Brien was in several of the first improv shows I ever saw, and showed me early on how weird and awesome and intent it could be. Guy rules. Lutz rules. If they make this show a long-running thing, it will be the new Asssscat.

  3. I feel you on the people with some foot problems cannot wear most of the womens shoes out there an here on this vegan site either. It sucks I am not a granny an do want nice shoes. But because I have injured my feet so many times I now have gasp arthritis in my right foot which makes all my shoes fit wrong on that foot; An hurt it.An big heels are out of the question.
