Drape, Drape, now in English!

Since I was defeated by the Japanese version of Drape, Drape, luckily the English version just came out.

I want to make 75% of everything in this book. Here are my favorites.

+ + +

#1, Loose Drape Top. I picture this styled with leggings or a pencil skirt. With a camisole underneath.

+ + +

#1, Tuck Drape Pants. They look really comfortable. I don’t want to be stuck in jeans all summer. I’ve already decided to make a uniform of maxi dresses, so this is a much needed piece.

+ + +

#2, Gather Drape Pants. These look like borderline diaper pants but I don’t care, they also look really comfortable. Again another much needed piece as I haven’t made enough maxi dresses yet.

+ + +

#6, Low-Back Gather Drape Dress. I like the classic cut. Definitely picture this with a camisole underneath.

+ + +

#9, Loose Drape Blouse. I picture this as is with a light-colored knit and lace trim.

+ + +

#8, Drape Drape All In One. I picture this being a good layering piece.

+ + +

#5, V-Neck Drape Dress. My absolute favorite dress in this book.

+ + +

#12, Drawstring-Detail Drape Top. I love the asymmetrical neckline of this piece.

+ + +

#13, Loose loose Draped Tank Top. Another good layering piece.

+ + +

#17, Goddess Drape Dress. I want to make this in a non-black color so you can see the draping.

  1. I just got this book too! Isn’t it fantastic. My two favorite parts are that there are patterns included with the book and seeing the shapes of the patterns. Always very interesting!
