Finally, something not in jersey and something that’s not a tank dress! It’s not something vintage but hopefully that’s next.
I started cutting the pattern and tissue fitting this dress a week or so ago, and when it came time to cut the fabric for this pattern I realized I was about two yards short. I’m plan to use white cotton embroidered voile underlined with white cotton batiste, but we’ll see what happens when I go to the garment district over the weekend.
Ooh, I’ve had my eye on this pattern! I’m excited to see how this looks! It sounds so floaty and nice in white voile!
I really love blacks and greys, but I’m also very partial to white lacy floaty things, especially in the summer. We’ll see how it goes.
