I finished this project on the last week of May and I only had a chance to post about it now. I know I’ve made almost nothing else but McCalls 6559 the past few months. I really miss vintage sewing and sewing with wovens.

Life has been really busy with starting school, freelance projects, trying to go to jiu jitsu and/or arnis, trying to have some semblance of a social life and seeing my family. I never realized how much free time school + freelance took up until I started doing both together. Sewing has taken a back seat but hopefully not for long.

This is my second project that I’ve finished since learning how to sew with jersey. I’ve worn it many times since. It’s especially comfortable now that our summers have reached 90 degrees.
