I had a chance to meet up with Zoe (and Mr. Zoe) of So, Zo over the weekend. There’s not much here that’s sewing-related, but we met up for some Moroccan food, and then went to The Library, a dive bar in the East Village.

It was great to meet Zoe in person. Sewing is such a solitary hobby, that it’s great to meet people who you can actually talk about sewing to.

You know, I never thought about sewing in that light – as very solitary – but you’re right. Fortunately, the community around sewing is so tight-knit that is makes up for it.
