finished object: Short-Sleeved Cardigan

materials: Laines du Nord yarn in black, size 8 and 9 needles. Short-Sleeved Cardigan pattern from Fitted Knits. glass/steel buttons with metal rivets.

notes: i will not knit this again! this is one of the bulkiest cropped sweaters i've ever knit, not to mention the warmest. hopefully there will be a blizzard in the northeast this year making this useful. the knitting went quickly though (3+ weeks). this sweater is also a bit itchy, meaning it still needs layers despite its warmth.

pattern used: Coquette Lace Top from Fitted Knits
time elapsed: shorter than expected (10 days?)

notes: knit using size 6 bamboo circulars, size 4 metal circulars in white and black Cotton Fleece. knit with 4+ inches of negative ease. still unsure about the pink ribbon, but i was watching Marie Antoinette while i was knitting this. next time i'll knit it all in one colour. how i'll wear this out (and not over pajamas at 2 a.m.) is still a mystery! perhaps will post a photograph when i've got that all sorted out.
